Certificate III Individual Support CHC33015
Aged Care, Disability and Home & Community Care
You can make a difference!
Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, and Merimbula
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require assistance due to ageing, disability or for some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
To achieve this qualification, all students will be required to complete at least 120 hours of work placement which we will secure for you. You will also be required to undertake a National Police Check and a Working With Children Check.
This qualification allows you to specialise and concentrate your efforts as either a Disability or Aged Care worker (home and community or facility). To support the demand in these sectors we are offering this qualification as both specialisations.
Funded places are available which may entitle you to a fee free scholarship or subsidy. Please contact the office to determine your eligibility
