The AVETMISS questions you are asked when enrolling are a requirement of the NSW Department of Industry. This information may be used by the Department for research, statistical analysis, program evaluation, post completion surveys and internal management purposes.

From 1 January 2015, anyone undertaking Vocational Education and Training will require a Unique Student Identifier (USI) before you can be issued with your qualification certificate. It is an Australian Government reference number made up of 10 numbers and letters that will securely store a record of your nationally recognised training and qualifications.

One of the main benefits of having a USI is having easy access to your training records and transcripts for all training completed after 1 January 2015. You will be able to access your USI account online anytime from any device. Once you create your USI you will be required to give your USI to each training provider you study with.

We encourage our students to log into their USI account and grant South Coast Careers College access to view their transcripts as this, together with copies of past certificates and transcripts, helps with determining your credit transfer eligibility.
