About The Program
The Home DIY Skills Program is a practical, hands-on course designed to help young people gain real-world skills, boost their confidence, and explore career pathways in construction and trades.
Over 12 weeks, school leavers aged 15 to 24 will learn essential skills.
This is more than just a DIY course — it’s a stepping stone into future work opportunities and personal independence. You’ll learn in a fun, supportive environment with guidance from experienced trainers.
Plus, you’ll have the chance to obtain your CPCWHS1001 White Card, a key requirement for working safely in the construction industry.
The course is non-accredited, but packed with value — and best of all, it’s subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible learners.

When and Where?
The Home DIY Skills Program runs over 12 weeks, giving you plenty of time to develop practical skills and build your confidence.
Program Dates: Every Wednesday from July 30th to October 30th
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
With just one session per week, the schedule is flexible and manageable — perfect for young people easing into study or training.
