Introduction To First Aid For Seniors

About The Program

A practical, non-accredited course designed with older adults in mind.
Gain confidence in responding to everyday health situations with our Introduction to First Aid for Seniors course. Tailored specifically for seniors, this hands-on, supportive program covers essential first aid topics over five informative sessions. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
What You’ll Learn
Each week focuses on a different aspect of first aid:
Week 1: First Aid Basics & Personal Safety
Week 2: Bandaging & Dressing Simple Wounds
Week 3: Choking Response & Self-Help Techniques
Week 4: Falls – Prevention & Safe Recovery
Week 5: Calling for Help & Emergency Communication

Who Is This Program For?

This course is ideal for seniors and older adults who want to feel more confident and prepared to respond to everyday health and safety situations. Whether living independently, caring for others, or simply looking to stay informed, participants will gain practical first aid skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

The course runs on May 21st & 28th and June 4th, 11th & 18th, held at 42 Orient Street, Batemans Bay.
