Meet Sarah Walsh, South Coast Community College’s (SCCC) Community Services trainer and assessor.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Nursing with 15+ years of experience working at major hospitals across Australia, most recently in rural emergency, community, and palliative care nursing.
She also has a Certificate 4 in training and assessing First Aid, and White Card and is currently employed with SCCC and KCC as a trainer and assessor.
Sarah is passionate about being involved in educating the next generation of caregivers and loves the satisfaction of teaching when her students’ level of understanding comes from tapping into their own knowledge. She really enjoys watching students develop confidence.
Sarah, also a farmer, describes herself as a tough chick who loves to fish and camp. She is a scout leader and has a fantastic family who keeps her going. She also loves learning new things, traveling, and loves her dog!
