South Coast Community College’s General Manager Sonja Castles had an absolute “ball” at the Eurobodalla Inaugural 2023 Mayor’s Charity Ball and Local Hero Award.

Held at the Narooma Golf Club, 150 local community members gathered to celebrate the Local Hero nominees with the award presented by Mathew Hatcher, Mayor of Eurobodalla Shire Council.

Sonja said ‘It was an honour to be invited to celebrate so many wonderful people who give so much to our community.’ With an amazing list of local hero nominees, congratulations again to David Oliphant, Eurobodalla’s local Hero for 2023.

Proceeds from the night went to Monty’s Place Narooma. South Coast Community College has had the privilege of delivering first-aid training this year to a number of volunteers from Monty’s Place.
