
Practical Resume Writing for Job Seekers
Practical Resume Writing for Job Seekers is a NON-ACCREDITED, NSW Government-subsidised course designed for individuals with limited computer, reading, or writing skills. Participants will receive step-by-step guidance in a relaxed environment to create a professional resume, with no prior experience required. This course offers an opportunity to develop essential skills for job applications and support in the job search process.
Target Audience
- The course is designed for disadvantaged individuals who may be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, low-income earners receiving Commonwealth welfare (with dependants), migrants and refugees who are unemployed or underemployed, or individuals who are living with a disability.
- People with barriers to Smart and Skilled funding entitlement may also be eligible.
Benefits
- Participants have an opportunity to develop their practical skills to create a clear and professional resume, helping them confidently present their experience in job applications.
- This course also provides an opportunity to practice reading, writing, and basic digital skills in a supportive environment.
